Welcome to UFABC! This guide provides key information to help international students complete their enrollment process with ease and clarity.
Documents Required for Enrollment
- CRNM (National Migration Registry Card). Temporarily accepted: Passport with Student Visa (VITEM IV or VITEM XIII). Your CRNM must be updated throughout your course.
- Civil Certificate: Birth or marriage certificate.
- Undergraduate Diploma. Foreign diplomas must be:
- Apostilled (for signatory countries of The Hague Convention)
- Or legalized at a Brazilian consulate (for non-signatory countries)
- Academic Transcript from your undergraduate degree. Same legalization or apostille rules apply as with the diploma.
Enrollment Timeline
- Students will be contacted individually once approved in the selection process.
- The deadline for submitting documents is informed via email.
- Enrollment confirmation is sent by the Academic Division of the Graduate Office (PROPG).
How to Submit Documents
- You will receive an email with a link to the official form, along with instructions and submission deadlines.
- All documents must be in PDF format.
- If your documents are not in English, Spanish, or French, they must be accompanied by an official translation into Portuguese.
Additional Info
- Your enrollment will not be completed without all required documents.
- Your student visa must remain valid until graduation.
- You are responsible for keeping track of all deadlines and program requirements via UFABC and your graduate program websites.
- UFABC does not provide housing or immigration services, but basic guidance can be offered.
